GREAT AUNT GLENN


 


lived in Toccoa, was an amateur painter who thought her work so rankly average that she hung her paintings way up the walls of her old house......she dabbled in taxidermy and many of her stuffed birds and small mammals are in collections and museums......her sister, Alma, my step-father's mother, was not so interesting....she polished the silverware and pondered her memorabilia. I always preferred the artist, Glenn, to the old DAR lady, Alma, called Bamboo.....
