this instigated my first thoughts about the scale of existence......the possibility of there being entire invisible universes in the space between sub-atomic particles of an atom........i began to have dreams about this.........in the 50's, there was no mention in the colliers encyclopedia about this sort of stuff........i asked our neighbor, Werner, about the scale of the universe......He was more interested in "real science"....i guessed that he wasn't really THAT smart, after all! I was on to something........I knew it.....I kept the comic until this page was decomposing.....until i could learn more.....and voila.....popular science caught up with the comix.......then A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME came about.......now everyone seems to consider the possibilities of a grander scale of the Universe and the infinitesimally small importance of the little orb that we occupy..........
