in 1970 i purchased an antique porfolio of Dore' engravings
from Dante's DIVINE COMEDY.........This one, from Canto 19.
"there stood I like the friar the doth shrive a wretch for murder doom'd"
The Divine Comedy was just a step up from Brothers Grimm, for me....
