One of three painted, gilt porcelain panels from a beautiful tryptich.....
The original, hinged bronze frame has long been lost, so the three panels are mounted on
black velvet and framed in my dining room......odd, that these Van Eyckish little masterpieces
dwelt, for years, in a shoe box in the closet with blankets and galoshes..........
