i found this old, chintz-covered box, in a box within another box......originally, in 1969, Bill Mello cloth-papered a small bath in our shared home......all the walls and the ceiling, then made a vinyl-lined shower curtain....with this fabric.....one wall, above the sink, featured a large beveled mirror in an enormous frame......so the effect was 3-D LSD orange with bluebirds of happiness and tulips.....as far as i know, there are no pictures of the entire room..... my next bathroom "art" was a model of The Temple at Karnak, complete with old Egyptian columns filling the room.....next, Mark West painted an Atlantis Under The Sea motif......oddly enough, no pictures of that survive either......bathrooms are so small; so it's easy to decorate them, thematically, and to change their look in no time at all.........
