Pondering past full state livery toward a 70/30 gin dubonnet, emerging into a walkabout in concert, is hardly my wishful dream; nor handing off a plea note for a drink...(a note that could cashier £16,000 to some sycophant that never washed his hands, having emptied the Sovereign's chamberpot).....departs, leaving me, reclining on carpeted marble steps, eying the mad hatter's hats and matching garters, stripping off my patents and gazing blankly past the gold tracings, at eye level, on the doors of Parliament....... then...partially abandoning protocol, slipping into something more comfortable........
