How much exact information can one load into a painting before suggestion takes over from fact? Total reality is unrepresentable, because it is infinite. One can make approximations in expression which produce this or that illusion, but below a certain scale the approximations turn into shorthand; microscopic reality cannot be rendered with a pasty, sloppy, granular substance like powdered minerals mixed in oil or words from the babelhouse of thinking. the poet is but a channel for thoughts unknown before expression and forgotten thereafter....poetry is the leavings on the beaches of infinity from which we extrapolate reality from dreams of it, which exist only in evanescent expressions from the depths of without.... this thinking is state of the "art' of physics; however, i do not buy the theory that superstrings vibrating in the 10th dimension, assuming that you buy the "proofs" of the last 6 dimensions, create the sub-atomic particles that create the known universe of current manifestation, in which we think about the all that is and the "is"ness of our concepts of the "all"......of course this 10th dimension concept is based on the rather conservative acceptance of the thinking that has been accepted in determining that all possible universes may be ,or, in the limiting thinking of the tinkerers in the absurdities of religious beliefs, including beliefs in the realness of observable demonstrations of proof of mathematical models of "reality", or not...........someday, a supercomputer will determine, within the realm of theoretical physics and chemistry, the Rerum Natura and enslave all of humanity's thoughts within its circuitry.......in the grand effort to energize the gate to the 88th dimension, whose concept is still beyond the grasp of even the most advanced theoriticians of pure mathematics, chemistry and physics on their pulsings to oblivion.......i think, as you must, that the effect is immediate and interdimensional and, thus, direct.......perhaps it is the effect of sub-atomic particles, changed by consciousness and will--transmuted or transmogrified even by unconscious will--that interpenetrates,at the speed of life, all within its reach within the sphere of their influences, thusly determining, if only for a parsec, the entirety of this and all other universes that are influenced by change at the sub-atomic level.....even at change within the gravity fields that lie in the vast space between these electrical charges which we define as particles, thusly conveying the false impression that matter, in its forms, is more than conjecture..........
