when i graduated from college....it was the "thing to do" to have a walletful of credit cards.......

and i took great pleasure in utilizing them.........always paying the balance in full when the statement

arrived........then, as more and more people used them.....and i saw how much trouble that average consumers got in by indiscriminate use of them.....and witnessing some of my friends charge up more than their yearly take home pay.....and interest rates soaring to 21%, i tossed my cards into a drawer, not wanting to set the example of credit card use, to others........i haven't used one in many years........it's good to have credit, but not good to use it, i think! my friends kid me about my peculiar and eccentric spending habits, but.......i have no debt, whatsoever....no morgage...no car payments.....no credit cards.......so there!
