I won my first plastic "620" camera at the Madison County fair in 1955, and alternated using it, Mother's Argus C-3, the only camera that she ever used, and my Grandmother's old black paper-covered 1905 Brownie for which i made my own film... until our neighbor Werner, offered me his older model Alpa.....an SLR!!!....wow!!!....after moving to Atlanta, i traded the clunky, heavy Alpa for a compact Leica IIIF, in mint condition...but the rage was always for SLR's, so when I was in photo school, i swapped the Leica for a Spotmatic, which i used for many years.......Today, I use a tiny Lumix, my favorite; a large Lumix, for its macro focus; and a Nikon digital that I've had for 4 years........it's really not the camera, but the photographer, anyway....
