CHOCOLATES



This has been the season for chocolates.....Oostendes, Lieges, Antwerpens, Leuvens,
Bastognes, Waterloos, Tournais, Rocheforts, Brugges, Chimays, Gents and Namurs not to mention (which I will) trashily sweet Dinants, after xmas Neimans' boxes of Godivas and Neuhaus'......I'm having a Brussels Bouchee of dark chocolate, filled with an intense, double center of dark chocolate and extra dark chocolate butter ganache... as I type.......I dare not stray far from the porcelain bowl with flushing mechanism! Then some respite until the red heart day in Feb.....I lie...I lie....there's a Valrhona Le Noir Extra Amer in my coat pocket......in case of emergency....consume 100g......!!
