It's been raining every day for weeks, and my yard is lush....I've almost decided to stop resisting the encroaching jungle of bamboo, wisteria, ivy and trumpet vines...the birds, snakes, racoons, rat-like marsupials and an occasional fox seem to love it! Digging up the bamboo is an increasingly laborious task.......Eventually, when Mankind has bitten the dust, it will not matter a mote anyway.....the front porch lighting fixture houses a nest of birds, as does the hanging lamp by the back door, paper wasps flank the front entry....and Bunnie is in chigger Heaven!
